Snack Your Way Smarter with These Energy Bliss Balls

Our favorite healthy and filling treats to snack on during Chōsen experiences are these Bliss Balls by Chef Josh. They perk us up without weighing us down and keep our minds and bodies awake and alert. Unfortunately, nowadays even the food in the ‘healthy’ aisle of the supermarket is full of artificial ingredients and hidden sugars that make our bodies feel more drab than fab. The easiest way to prevent the dreaded post-snack slump is to roll up your sleeves and cook up some healthy bites for yourself. This bliss-ball recipe is easy and we recommend trying it out on a Sunday so that they’re on hand when you need something easy and fast to munch on throughout the week. This recipe makes 30 balls but can be doubled, tripled or quadrupled easily and these little bites of goodness will last for a week in the fridge. We suggest putting a padlock on the storage container as they’ve been known to get nicked from the fridge during Chōsen Experiences. Consider yourself warned. Ingredients:125g flax seeds250g dates250g almonds250g cashews250g pumpkin seeds½ cup dried cranberries125g goji berries50ml coconut oil38g cacao125g shredded toasted coconut Method:Begin by placing all of the ingredients in a food processor and blending until almost smooth. Take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball. Continue doing this until the mixture has finished. Place the rolled balls into the fridge for around 1 hour, then remove and store in an airtight container in the fridge. Enjoy! The Chōsen Team
